This system is a digital optic transmission system that can be applied to PCS and W-CDMA systems, which can be used for coverage expansion as well as a solution to shaded areas.
The digital signal processing and transmission methods allow little distortion caused by signal quality of transmission loss, which allows greater long-distance transmission, multiple sector method and selective FA transmission compared to the existing analog forms, that further leads to flexible network design and efficient telephone traffic management. |

1) MHU and ROU are digital optically transmitted, which allows the maintenance of S/N
ratio, providing reliability throughout the transmission areas.
2) Gain is constant regardless of the distance between the MHU and ROU, which
provides convenience in installation and maintenance and repair.
3) Adjustment for track loss compensation is unnecessary.
4) Long-distance transmission is made possible through effective network formation,
which provides effective solution for shaded areas.
5) ROU output is 40W (46dBm), which makes is applicable in areas that require a
cascade.
6) Simple optic cables allow the connection of a maximum of 12 ROU, and divergence
from the ROU and MHU is possible; furthermore, cost is reduced compared to the
use of multiple cables. |
