The S-SCORPION system is comprised of the main device (SMHU), mobile optical transmission device (SROU), and NMS. The SMHU is in charge of the WCDMA base station (Node-B) and RF Interface feature while the SROU that is located with Node-B is in charge of the WCDMA wireless service to be located in the subway’s platform, waiting room, and tunnels. SROU can be classified into 40W and 24W uses depending on the output.
The SMHU and SROU are connected by digital optical lines, and the NMS is operable from each equipment.
